The Capital Big Band was formed in 2005 by Darrell Cannedy, a retired band director from Raymond, Ill. and Ralph Woehrmann, a retired Lutheran pastor from Springfield.
This patriotic concert – in commemoration of Pike County’s Bicentennial – is sponsored by The Abe Lincoln Project/Looking for Lincoln in Pike County.
