Germanfest 2023 will be held on Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 3rd in Quincy’s

This year’s event will be held on:
Friday, June 2nd from 5:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Saturday, June 3rd from 3:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Listen to great German bands throughout both days, such as the Waterloo Band, who
due to popular demand will be joining us again. While listening to the wonderful
traditional German music, enjoy performances throughout both days from the Wir
Tanzen Dancers, a traditional German Dance group from the St. Louis area.
Make sure you come and sample our new beer selections this year. Germanfest will
have a wide variety of domestic and specialty beers to choose from, including two
German-styled brews from Quincy Brewing Company. This year, we will also be
offering a selection of wine from Point Divine.

On Saturday, June 3rd from 3-7 pm make sure to bring the kids by Kinderplatz, which is
a “Children’s Area” for younger children. Inside Kinderplatz there will be a variety of
children’s activities, crafts, games and even the Quincy Children’s Museum will be
present with yard games for the kids to enjoy & receive prizes. All activities inside
Kinderplatz are free to younger children.
There will be event parking available at Hy-Vee this year along with a shuttle service
available for anyone wishing to catch a ride over to the event area. To catch a ride, just
look for the signs and designated areas where you may park your vehicle.
