The historic Lippincott Hall at the Illinois Veterans home will come alive with period costumes and the annual Mississippi Thespian/History Company Civil War Ball from 1-4pm. Music will be provided by Ralu Gerri and the dance caller Deborah Hyland, who will provide brief instruction prior to each dance. Period dress, while not required may be rented for the dance for $30 by calling the director at 217-223-9879. Adult tickets are $10 each and $5 for students.
