Empower Change Fundraiser on Saturday, September 9
th, at The State Room, 434 So.
8th St., Quincy, Illinois doors open at 7:00 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m.;
entertainment will be provided by Stage Hypnotist Rev. William Mitchell. The Mid
America Hypnosis Conference awarded him “Hypnotist of the Year 2009” and he is a
keynoter at the 2017 The Ultimate Stage Hypnosis Conference in Las Vegas, NV.
William refers to his volunteers as the true STARS of the Show! With his skillful
suggestions, William’s positive and respectful style of presentation reassures the
audience and brings individuals out of the crowd that most people assumed would not
volunteer to be in a show. His shows always use clean humor to provide an
entertaining Stage Hypnosis Show that has universal appeal for all ages!
It is good clean fun!!!!! These POWERFUL Demonstrations of the Power of the
Human Mind will delight and amaze the audience. The audience will be
spellbound as they watch their friends hypnotized!
Rev. William Mitchell is also the Bi-Vocational Pastor of First Baptist Church (ABC) in
Stonington, IL. At the National Guild of Hypnotists Convention he received the
“Religion and Hypnotism Award”.
Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Culver-Stockton College, Canton,
MO and graduate theological education at Phillips University Graduate Seminary in
Oklahoma with an earned Master of Divinity and doctoral work at Texas Christian
University in Fort Worth, TX.
Tickets for the event are $40 in advance and $45 at the door which includes coffee and
dessert bar dinner provided by Baileys, entertainment, and donation to Madonna

Awareness, and Consultation.
Madonna House’s Everyday Life Skills Service is provided at New Start Rescue
Mission, Fishers of Men, The Well House, Horizons Social Service, Cheerful Home,
Adams County Probation Department, Quincy Senior High School 9th Hour and Quincy
Junior High School. Individual sessions are provided at an off-site location. We are
also one of the three sites for the Adams County Works – Ready to Work Certificate
The food pantry is located at 601 State Street in Quincy, serving on average 1,200
individuals per month. The food pantry hours of operation are 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
every Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. every Saturday. Our diaper pantry is open
every Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
