The annual Frontier Settlement Day Activities will be held at the Log Cabin Village on Quinsippi Island Park north of the Quincy riverfront. Held from 11 – 4 p.m. September 13, 2014.

New displays and activities each year. visit

Displays and re-enactors of the 1800’s, Nauvoo on the Road with candle dipping, rope, toy and brick making, baking. There will be Lye soap making, black smith, penny rug making. Preacher in the church talking about religion in the 1800’s (you may see a frontier wedding) and school daze at the Frazier cabin. The Olde Tyme Assoc. will bring items of the time. Creative crafts table and games. The soldiers and ladies of 1812 plan to participate. Fun for the entire family.
New this year is the Walk for the Cabin Village, held in the morning before the settlement day activities. Lunch available.
