Celebrating the return of America’s bald eagle, the Standing Bear Council hosts the 3rd annual Great River Eagle days Saturday and Sunday in the Oakley Lindsay Civic Center, 3rd & York. 10-5pm both days, view up close eagles and Native American traditions and dancers, vendors, children’s activities, authentic fry-bread and more. Complimentary scopes will also be available at Quincy’s Lock and Dam 21, from 9-4 both days rangers will be on hand to help view the birds.
