Great River Film Festival hosts their inaugural film festival in downtown Quincy October 2-5, 2019. Open to the public, $20 daily pass or $45 weekend pass. For more information contact 217-242-2505 or email HannibalEntertainmentGroup@gmail.com. https://www.greatriverfilmfestival.org/
Films, locations and special guest appearances TBA. Actors who have confirmed to date include; Lynda Day George, Lisa Loring, Kim Lankford, Roy Head, Terry Moore, Chris Noel, Lana Wood, Ron Masak, Warren Berlinger, Patrick Wayne, Buck Taylor and Richard Thomas “John Boy”-The Waltons. Films to be shown from 10am-8pm Thurs. and Friday, and from 10am-5pm Saturday during the festival. Films will be shown from the 1930’s-1960’s with two screening rooms and several question answer sessions throughout the festival.
Vendor tables are $100 for an aisle location and $125 for booths along the wall. To secure lodging at the host hotel, the Atrium Hotel on Third, 201 S 3rd. Quincy, IL tel 217-222-2666. Special event rates for the event are $87.00 plus tax for double and king rooms.
