The scenic stretch of the National Scenic Byway between Hamilton and Nauvoo, IL invites runners, walkers and bike riders to the Great River Road Run, to be held Oct. 7, 2017. Participants will be offered a half marathon, 5k, 10k, 13-mile or 55-mile bike ride. Proceeds to benefit the Hancock Co. Food Bank. The Event will begin at Wildcat Springs Boat Dock, Hamilton, IL. Next to the Great Lakes Boat Company and will finish at Nauvoo State Park. The 6th Annual Great River Road Run will be held on October 7, 2017. The run begins in Hamilton at 8 a.m. and will end in the Nauvoo State Park Shelter House.
