Nauvoo, IL- Members of the Nauvoo Interfaith Partnership invite all in the local area to their fall Interfaith Symposium, held at the Historic Nauvoo Visitors’ Center on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00 PM. The topic of the symposium will be “Who Are God’s Children?”

Following the pattern of previous symposiums, there will be speakers representing different religious communities in the Nauvoo area. In the past these have included the Presbyterian, Methodist, LDS, Lutheran, Community of Christ, and Catholic churches. The speakers will explain, according to their faith traditions, who can be called a child of God. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, and refreshments will be available as well.

The Historic Nauvoo Visitors’ Center is located at the corner of Main and Hubbard Streets in the “flat” area of Nauvoo.

For any questions, please call Fr. Thomas Szydlik at 217-453-2428.
