The Pike County Fair is July 18-22, in Pleasant Hill

Opening Day starts on Tuesday with Mrs. Marilyn Hougland hosting the Senior Dinner. Marilyn loves the fair and takes great pride on Senior Day. The meal is provided by Liberty Village of Pittsfield. The new 2017 SENIOR KING AND QUEEN will be crowned at this time.
Tuesday night the Pleasant Hill American Legion will host the Opening Ceremonies at 6:30 and the ILLINOIS FARM TRACTOR PULLER ASSOCIATION will provide and evening of LOUD AND PROUD pulling. They love to pull but love to pull in front of a crowd. Pit area is open to first come first served. Admission will be $6.00 for Seniors.
Wednesday is KIDS DAY and the crowning of new PIKE COUNTY FAIR QUEEN ROYALTY. Pageants start at 7:30 PM. Gate Prices are $8.00 for adults $6.00 for kids 4 and under are Free
The Baby Contest and crowning of a Pike County Fair Baby will be held on Saturday July 22nd at 1:00 PM.
Thursday will be LOS MORALTIS ACROBATIC CIRCUS performing in front of the grandstand at 7:30 PM and the Talent Show.
Friday night is bull-riding provided by OUTLAW 5/J RODEO PRODUCTIONS. They put on the best in area bull riding and provide entertainment for many local fairs and venues. The banter between the announcer and the clown and the clown with the spectators is well worth the price of admission. The kids will have a chance to win $$ with a calf scramble as well!!
Saturday night closes the fair down right with the ever popular DEMOLITION DERBY provided by MIKE BROWN PROMOTIONS.
