The Quincy Symphony Orchestra season ends with the grand “American Salute” concert on Saturday, April 13. This nostalgic event includes Copland’s “Lincoln Portrait,” popular American musical pieces from “The King and I” and “The Music Man” and Copland’s grand “Old American Songs” featuring baritone Ricardo Sepulveda.

Tickets are available at the door, or in advance at Quincy Hy-Vee stores, County Market, Sturhahn Jewelers, or the Symphony Office at 200 N. 8th Street. Individual concert tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for senior citizens. Thanks in part to support from the Tracy Family Foundation and the Community Foundation, children 18 and under are admitted free to all QSO concerts, and are encouraged to attend.
