The 4th of July Celebration in Quincy will be held at the Illinois Veterans Home. Events include a kids zone and Vendors at 5pm; Quincy Park Band at 7:30pm and then fireworks.
The only parking available at the Illinois Veterans Home is at the 5th Street Entrance, beginning at 5 p.m. Shuttle bus service is available from Lot C at Quincy University at 18th and Elm streets. From 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., 12th Street will be closed from Seminary to Locust, and Locust will close from 8th to 12th. For more information contact WGEM at 217-228-6600.
