Warfield House

1626 Maine | Quincy, IL

This home was built for a wholesale grocer, William Warfield. Stone was imported from Minnesota with decorative terra cotta ornaments molded and fired near Chicago. This was the inspiration for the Newcomb Mansion built four years later.
