This home was built for Charles Savage, manager of Quincy-Toledo Railroad. It was purchased in the 1930s by Leo & Mildred Monckton, purported for Prohibition, gambling, and Mafia ties.

Rumor has it that the Moncktons entertained Al Capone at their Quincy estate.
