Oak Wood Acres Campground is nestled in the heart of the Midwest in Mendon, Illinois, and is the home to 170 camping spots. Oak Wood Acres is famous for the camaraderie between campers, amenities for relaxation, including a pool, and wildlife views of turkey and whitetail deer. Oak Wood Acres is home to a 5-acre lake for fishing and a playground; it is surrounded by woods and has plenty of open grassy areas for play.

The 160 permanent camping spots are often full of neighbors visiting and playing games. Guests prefer using golf carts as the choice of transportation around camp. Furthermore, the nine pull-through spots are close to the campground entrance, office, and shower area.

Oak Wood Acres is located just off Interstate 172 outside Mendon, Illinois, home to Casey’s, Dollar General, small local restaurants, and coffee shops. The campground is located 10 miles north of Quincy, Illinois, and has several chain and local stores, restaurants, and activities.
